Diane and I worked pretty steadily for a few years starting around 2008. There are some live recordings floating around, but you kind of had to be there. This record, her first in 7 or 8 years, came along after our fruitful period. I play on a song or two.
"Her songwriting recalls a pensive sensibility ... It offers a maturity on par with some of Joni Mitchell’s musings and content, but is delightfully rougher around the edges. Cluck’s texturing is stark, but the songs feel full nonetheless; what Boneset might lack in length or elaboration, it makes up for in intensity."

"Boneset is comprised of songs written years ago and just recently. They laid out best in near-chronological order. Dark to light to dark, the album overends as a mobius strip, its songs seeded with connection and release, overcoming fear with heart...birds, bones, surrender.
I write songs with the intention that there's space within them for you to enter and discover and receive. Willkommen. I feel gratitude in doing this work and hope you will enjoy."
